Police: Teen Sexually Assaulted Monday Walking Home from School

Incident took place on S. Four Mile Run Drive.

Arlington County Police report that a teenager was sexually assaulted Monday afternoon on her way home from school.

The sexual assault took place in the 4100 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive (see map above). At 4:15 p.m. on Monday, as a 17 year-old was walking home from school, an unknown suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks, police said.

The area is surrounded by traffic and local businesses, including a gas station, a car wash, a dog daycare and more.

The suspect fled on foot and is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, approximately 5’11” tall and 140 pounds. He was wearing a blue beanie, long sleeve gray t-shirt with blue sleeves and jeans.

Anyone with information about the incident or the suspect should immediately contact police.
