Police: Woman Fights Off Attacker in Sex Assault on Clarendon Boulevard
In latest crime report, a resident also says a shotgun and rifle were stolen from his home.

The following are the most recent crimes reported by the Arlington County Police Department:
SEXUAL ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 150725009, 1900 block of Clarendon Boulevard. A female victim reported being pushed from behind into the bushes and sexually assaulted while walking home after an evening out in the Clarendon area. The victim was able to fight off her attacker and suffered no injuries. The suspect is described as a white Hispanic male, 20-30 years of age, 5’06”-5’08”, 150-175 bls, wearing a white tank top and dark pants.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 150725012, 2900 block of Wilson Boulevard. A verbal argument escalated into a physical altercation between four subjects at which time one of the subjects produced a knife and injured two of the subjects. Medics treated everyone on scene and transported one to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.

ABDUCTION/DOMESTIC ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 150725014, 5500 block of Columbia Pike. At 0143 hours, a 17 year old female victim reported to police that her 23 year old half-brother attempted to rape her after returning home after a night of drinking. The victim fought off the attack and was not injured. The suspect was startled and fled the scene when their mother and her boyfriend returned home. Warrants and a Protective Order were issued.
STRANGULATION/DOMESTIC ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 150725037, 800 block of S Greenbrier Street. At 1422 hours, an female victim reported she was strangled by her boyfriend during an argument which became physical. A witness to the incident called police. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly. A Protective Order was issued.

ROBBERY, 150724043, 1100 block of S Hayes Street. An unknown male subject stole six pairs of sunglasses. The store manager was struck in the arm during the struggle attempting to stop the subject. She did not sustain any injuries. The suspect is described as a black male, waist length hair, wearing an olive color dress and tan sandals.
ROBBERY, 150725056, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. An unknown subject took several types of laundry detergent and attempted to exit the store without paying. After a brief struggle with an employee at the door, the subject managed to forcefully exit the store with the items. The employee followed the subject down the block and managed to talk the suspect into dropping the items. Many of the stolen items were recovered and the employee did not sustain any injuries. The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a white golf hat, white and gray striped shirt and blue jeans.
ROBBERY, 150726010, 3000 block of Washington Boulevard. At 0258 hours a female victim told police she was pushed to the ground by an unknown male subject who had followed her on his bicycle while she was walking her dog. The suspect, described as a white male weating a dark t-shirt and pants, stole her cell phone and headphones.
BURGLARY, 150725025, 1100 block of S Frederick Street. At 1244 hours, the victim called police and reported his home was burglarized. The victim stated he left home for approximately two hours and upon his return, found the rear door had been forced open. He discovered a shotgun, a rifle, a cell phone and cash missing. There are no suspects at this time.
