Report: Pentagon Warns Employees They're Targets for Terrorists

The Pentagon Force Protection Agency is warning Pentagon employees that they could be targets for terrorists, according to a story by Military Times.

The Pentagon is located in Arlington County; thousands of Northern Virginia residents work at the Pentagon.

The Military Times quoted from a memo sent to employees warning them that terrorists influenced by ISIL have attacked or plotted to attack people in Canada, the U.K. and France in public places such as mass transit, religious facilities and places of public gatherings.

The memo encourages workers to not say anything negative about terrorists on social media, to change their social media passwords frequently and not post anything that links them to being in the military or law enforcement.

The agency also advises hiding any badges or military IDs when in public and to take different routes to work.
