A video has emerged showing the moment a door flew open on a Metro train that was traveling on the Orange Line near Dunn Loring, prompting WMATA to remove all 3000-series Metro trains from service.

The video, posted by ABC 7 and credited to Claudia Sol, is embedded below.

"Metro overnight temporarily removed all 3000-series cars from service after we received a report of a door malfunction for which we need to identify the cause," Metro tweeted Tuesday morning. "This voluntary safety action reduces the number of available rail cars by ~15%."
