Sexual Battery Case Under Investigation In Waycroft-Woodlawn Area
Arlington County Police are investing a sexual battery that took place Sunday evening in the Waycroft-Woodlawn neighborhood.
ARLINGTON, VA -- Arlington County Police are investigating a sexual battery incident that took Place Sunday evening in the Waycroft-Woodlawn area, according to the ACPD crime report.
Police were dispatched Jan. 5, at about 9:10 p.m., to the 1100 block of N. George Mason Drive to a late report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers learned the victim was walking in the area when she noticed the shadow of someone following her. As she turned, the suspect grabbed her buttocks and fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s. He is possibly Hispanic or Italian and has dark features and straight, dark, short hair. He was wearing a black hoodie and light pants.
