Shake Shack Unveils Frozen Custard Flavor Just for Pentagon City

Shake Shack is opening its doors at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City tomorrow -- and the restaurant will be rolling out a frozen custard just for the locals.

Shake Shack representatives will be on hand at 11 a.m. May 4 for a ribbon-cutting ceremony in advance of opening its second Virginia location at the mall, according to a company statement.

"The Pentagon City Shack's menu has all of the Shake Shack classics," the statement reads. "Additionally, the menu will feature the Pentagon City-exclusive Potomac PB frozen custard concrete (vanilla custard, peanut butter sauce, Baked & Wired chocolate chip cookie and chocolate sprinkles)."

This will be the seventh Shake Shack to open in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Shake Shack has locations at Nats Park, Union Station, Dupont Circle and the Baltimore Inner Harbor. The other Virginia Shake Shack is located in Tysons Corner.

Shake Shack bills itself as a "roadside" burger stand that serves burgers, flat-top dogs, frozen custard, crinkle cut fries and even beer and wine at certain locations.
