ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating a report of shots being fired Monday afternoon north of Army Navy County Club, according to a 2:13 p.m. social media post.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of S. Ross Street to investigate the reported shooting. Police confirmed that shots were fired in the area, but no injuries nor property damage was reported, according to the post on X (formerly Twitter).

A suspect fled the area in a vehicle after the incident, police say. A helicopter helped officers to search the area following the shooting.
