Spring Fling Block Party In Shirlington Features Pet Adoption At Dogma
The Village at Shirlington is hosting a Spring Fling Village Block Party on May 21. The event will include games and a pet adoption event.

ARLINGTON, VA — The Village at Shirlington is hosting a free Spring Fling Village Block Party on Saturday, May 21. The event will include live music and entertainment, shopping, food and games.
More than 40 local artists and craft vendors will have booths at the block party. As part of the event, Dogma will be hosting a Lucky Dog Animal Rescue Pet Adoption Day.
Shirlington Sports will be hosting a cornhole tournament to support the Alzheimer's Association. Visit the Shirlington Sports website to register for the cornhole tournament.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 21 along Campbell Avenue at The Village at Shirlington.
The Village at Shirlington is a "sip and stroll" property, which means the public can carry to-go alcohol beverages purchased from area restaurants and walk along Campbell Avenue.

Participating restaurants and shops in the sip and stroll include Aroma, Busboys & Poets, Cheesetique, Copperwood Tavern, Damn Good Burgers, Dudley’s Sport & Ale, Guapo’s, Palette 22, Samuel Beckett’s, Stellina Pizzeria, and Taco and Piña.
Campbell Avenue will be closed from the Harris Teeter to South Quincy St., including the intersection at South Randolph, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. No vehicle traffic will be permitted on the street during these times.
Parking is available at garages in the Shirlington area. Vendors interested in participating in the event should email steven@wesellevents.com.
