Traffic Advisory: Arlington Police Warn Of Slippery Streets
Arlington County Police issued a traffic advisory as snow blankets roads across the region.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police have issued a traffic advisory for Wednesday afternoon as snow begins to slowly blanket neighborhood streets, according to a post on ACPD's official Twitter account.
Police say that roadways in the county are slick and they have been responding to multiple vehicle crashes and reports of vehicles getting stuck. They ask that residents limit their travel to allow work crews time to clear the roads.
At 1 p.m., the National Weather Service was reporting light snow and a temperature of 32 degrees Fahrenheit at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

NWS issued a winter weather advisory for the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. area Wednesday morning. Mixed precipitation is expected with a total accumulation of sleet and snow of 1 to 2 inches, as well as ice accumulations of around one-tenth of an inch.
