Two Juveniles Facing Burglary Charges Following Arlington Break-Ins
Arlington County Police arrested two juveniles they say broke into two businesses in the Virginia Square area.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington county police arrested two juveniles suspected of breaking into a pair of Virginia Square businesses early Thursday morning.
An officer on patrol around 2:26 a.m. spotted a shattered glass door at a closed business in the 35oo block of Wilson Boulevard. Approaching the business on foot, the officer issued commands to the two suspects, who ran off., according to police
The officer chased one of the suspects on foot, who refused to stop and ignored the command of a second officer he was running toward, according to police. After the first officer deployed their taser, the officers were able to take the suspect into custody.

A broadcast was issued for the second suspect, who was located in the area of Fairfax Drive at N. Nelson Street and then taken into custody by police.
A preliminary investigation into the incident revealed that, around 1:13 a.m., the two suspect had forced their way into a closed business in the 3400 block of Wilson Boulevard and stole merchandise, according to police.

Petitions for arrest are pending for the two juveniles in connection with the two break-ins, according to police. The two suspects are facing charges of burglary, obstruction of justice, conspiracy to commit a felony and possession of burglarious tools.
ACPD released the suspects into the custody of their parents.
