VA's Best Mexican Food Is At This Restaurant, New List Says
Cooking website LoveFood.com sorted through user reviews and accolades to determine which VA Mexican restaurant is best.
VIRGINIA — When it comes to indulging in Mexican cuisine in Virginia, the best eats can be found at District Taco, according to a new list.
To compile a new feature showcasing the best Mexican restaurants in each state, cooking website LoveFood.com sorted through user reviews, awards, and accolades to determine which eatery residents flock to for their fix of tacos, fajitas, and guacamole. They also took the first-hand experiences of employees into account when making the list.
According to the list, District Taco is worth the stop in Virginia.

With locations in four states and the District of Columbia, District Taco started as a food truck in Arlington’s Rosslyn neighborhood in 2009. The restaurant now has eateries in Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church, Vienna, Springfield, McLean and Norfolk. A new location in Chesapeake is coming soon.
"The cuisine is inspired by the Yucatán, the home region of owner Osiris Hoil, and everything is made daily and served fresh with an emphasis on healthy, sustainable food," the staff at LoveFood.com wrote.

Online reviews also appear to sing District Taco's praises and often mention their fish tacos and breakfast burritos.
"Let me start off by saying I love District Taco! There is nothing that compares to it where I live and I totally took advantage of that while in DC! It's quick, easy and delicious," one Yelp reviewer raved.
"The food is incredible. There are so many choices...protein, veggies, salsa, etc. Everything is fresh and is delicious!" another wrote.
