ARLINGTON, VA -- Virginia Hospital Center's expansion plans have been approved by the Arlington County Board in a narrow 3-2 vote, according to a report.
The Washington Business Journal reports that the project would involve a new medical building and parking garage on county land, and VHC will be expected to address neighborhood concerns.
The project will involve some significant changes to the property, including a move to break up the block that has the traffic light. It will also involve creating a pedestrian connection in the area of 19th Street N.
