Virginia Hospital Center Offers Flu Shots and TDAP Vaccines for the Community

Outpatient Pharmacy Open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. For Vaccinations 

 

Virginia Hospital Center, a leading healthcare facility in the Washington, DC metropolitan area recently named one of America’s 100 Top Hospitals® by Truven Health Analytics, today announced that it is offering flu shots and Tdap vaccines through its Outpatient Pharmacy.  Visit the Outpatient Pharmacy Monday Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. to receive the vaccinations.  No appointment is necessary.

“The flu vaccine is the single most effective way to prevent the spreading of the flu,” said Marjan Daneshmand, Director of the Outpatient Pharmacy. “The seasonal flu is a serious illness, so at Virginia Hospital Center it is a priority to make vaccinations easily attainable for our community.”

Virginia Hospital Center’s Outpatient Pharmacy is located on the first floor of the building at 1701 N. George Mason Drive, Arlington, VA, 22205. All credit cards are accepted, most insurance plans are accepted, and direct insurance billing is provided. Flu shots cost $30 without insurance; Tdap vaccines cost $65 without insurance. Walk-ins are welcome.
