Woman Robbed in Bizarre Scam in Pentagon City: Police
Police say the woman found liquid pouring down the back of her head, and two women more than eager to help clean her up.

ARLINGTON, VA — Police are looking for two women who apparently pulled off a strange scam in Pentagon City that allowed them to make off with cash from a woman's purse.
Police were called to the 1400 block of S. Eads Street shortly before 10 a.m. on Sept. 23 to the report of a grand larceny, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.
"When on scene, it was determined that a female victim was walking on the sidewalk when she felt an unknown liquid being poured on the back of her head," the report states. "The victim turned around and two Hispanic females offered to help clean off the substance."

After the women left and the victim had gone on her way, she realized some cash was missing from her purse.
The report adds: "The first suspect is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 5’6” tall and weighed 150 lbs. She was wearing a long sleeve blue and white dress and dark pants. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 5’6” tall and 150 lbs. She was wearing a long sleeve shirt and pants."
