Missing Ashburn Teen Sought By Police, Family

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help finding Carlos Alberto Lopez-Alvarez, a missing 17-year-old boy.

ASHBURN, VA — Carlos Alberto Lopez-Alvarez, a 17-year-old boy from Ashburn, is missing. Now, authorities are asking for the public's help finding him.

Lopez-Alvarez left his home of his own accord on Thursday, Sept. 2, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. He lives in the Gayton Terrace area of Ashburn. In a news release, authorities said they believe he is still in that area.

Lopez-Alvarez is about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs around 187 pounds, police said.
