• Loudoun Elementary School Teacher Charged with Assault and Batter (theriver953.com) — An Ashburn resident who teaches at Horizon Elementary has been charged with assault and battery after a school resource officer reported an alleged incident involving a student on October 1. The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is still investigating and has released few details, but anyone with information is urged to contact investigators as the case moves toward a court appearance.
