Police: Teen Crashes Stolen Car Into Back Deck

Sterling suspect faces car theft, hit and run charges in Wednesday incident, according to Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

A 17-year-old suspect allegedly crashed a car through a fence and into the back deck of a Sterling home, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

The teen, of Sterling, faces charges of auto theft, felony hit and run and underage possession of alcohol. He was taken to the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center.

Police responded at 9:05 p.m. to the 200 block of Autumn Olive Way in Sterling. The car was found at the victim’s home, but the driver had fled the scene on foot.

Officers located the suspect and later determined that the car had been stolen.
