Police: An Uninvited Guest Is At Large

Stranger enters two Sterling homes, then vanishes, says Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

A man walked uninvited into two Sterling homes on Saturday evening, but he disappeared before police could catch him.

Loudoun County police responded at 6:46 p.m. Saturday to a report of an unlawful entry at a home in the 21800 block of Bramble Court in Sterling, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. An unidentified resident returned home and discovered someone had entered their home and eaten some of their food.

As police arrived on the scene, a resident at a home nearby, in the 21800 block of Leatherleaf Court, reported another unlawful entry - an unknown man walked into their home through an unlocked door. He asked if the residents knew where someone was and then asked a female resident for a kiss before leaving, the report said.

A male resident chased the man to the area of Trumpet Circle before losing sight of him. Loudoun police also searched the area, but they could not find him.

He’s described by police as black, about 6 feet tall and in his 20s. He has a thin build and was wearing a black coat, pants and black socks with no shoes.
