  • Alternate bus stops may be put in place in some locations. If your student is affected by this, you will be contacted via the Blackboard Connect system during the weekend.
  • Please clear your sidewalks and walkways to help students walking to school and bus stops.
  • Parents are encouraged to do a trial walk to school or the bus stop during the weekend to assess conditions. LCPS also is asking parents to accompany students to school or the bus stop during times when snow and ice may be a factor.
  • Please be patient and allow extra travel time Monday as some traffic routes may still be altered.

More notes from the school system:

  • The moveable student holiday (planning/records/conference day) will be moved to Friday, Feb. 5. Feb. 5 will be a student holiday.
  • Please note that no additional school days for students will be added to the calendar because of the days missed so far.
