Sterling Man Charged in Attempted Kidnapping

A domestic dispute led to the arrest Saturday of a Sterling man by Herndon police on kidnapping and other charges.

Charles Migliore, 29, was charged with domestic assault, abduction and strangulation following the incident in the 1100 block of Hertford Street, according to a Herndon police report.

Migliore allegedly forced another family member into a vehicle, and the assault occurred, the report said. The victim sustained minor injuries and was able to escape.
