Stolen Car Recovered in Stone Ridge

A stolen car was recovered last week in the Stone Ridge community, near Route 50 west of Dulles Airport, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

A sheriff’s deputy responded at 9 p.m. Wednesday to the report of a property damage crash in the area of Grassland Grove Drive and Dahlia Manor Place, according to a police report. The vehicle was unoccupied and appeared inoperable due to damage from striking a curb.

The owner of the vehicle was located at 5:45 a.m. Thursday and reported the vehicle stolen, the sheriff’s office said.
