Suspicious Woman Offers Two Girls Ride In Ashburn

Two girls walking home from a bus stop in Ashburn were approached by a woman driving a minivan who asked if they wanted a ride: LCSO.

ASHBURN, VA — Two girls walking home from a bus stop Saturday in the Carisbrooke neighborhood were approached by a woman driving a minivan who asked if they wanted a ride, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The girls' mother reported that her daughter and a friend declined, after which the minivan left the neighborhood. Similar incidents have happened in the the county this month in which the suspects are a woman and a man. One happened one in the 42000 block of Legacy Park Drive and one in 23000 block of Block Hales Trace Court. (For more local news, click here to sign up for real-time news alerts. In the two earlier cases, the woman was described as being white, possibly Hispanic, with dark hair. She was described as being heavyset and in her mid 50s. Also in both cases, the man was described as a white and in his 50s. He was described as being bald with tatoos on his right upper arm.

The vehicle in one incident was described as gold and possibly a mid 80s Nissan Sentra or Toyota Celica. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-777-0475.
