Three Teens Charged in BB Gun Vandalism Spree
They allegedly shot projectiles, tossed eggs at cars, homes in Hamilton area: Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The Loudoun County police have apprehended three teenagers for allegedly firing BB guns and throwing eggs at homes and vehicles in the Hamilton area and the western part of the county.
The names of the teens - two 17-year-olds and a 13-year-old - cannot be released because they’re juveniles, said the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

The vandalism incidents began on June 27 and continued throughout the month of July. In response, the sheriff’s office increased patrols in the area of Hamilton, a small town west of Leesburg.
The three teens are facing felony and misdemeanor charges in connection with the vandalisms. One of the 17-year-old suspects and the 13-year-old are face two felony counts of throwing a missile at an occupied dwelling, three felony counts of shooting or throwing a missile at a vehicle, one felony count of conspiracy to shoot or throw a missile at a vehicle, and three misdemeanor counts of destruction of property, the sheriff’s office said.

The second 17-year-old is facing three felony counts of shooting or throwing a missile at a vehicle, three felony counts of conspiracy to shoot or throw a missile at a vehicle, and three misdemeanor counts of destruction of property.
“The efforts of our deputies and detectives in Western Loudoun to bring this spree of vandalism to an end should be lauded,” said Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman in a statement. “They worked countless hours, conducted numerous interviews, and followed up on leads developed from tips from the community, which ultimately led to the teenagers being identified.”
