LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A Chantilly man was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Monday afternoon on Old Ox Road near Pebble Run Road, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Khalil Noorestani, 70, died at the scene.

Around 12:45 p.m., Noorestani, driving a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta, was headed north on Old Ox Road when apparently tried to make a U turn. He pulled in front of a 2015 Mack truck that broadsided the driver's side of his vehicle. The case remains under investigation by a police crash reconstruction team.
