BURKE, VA —As the 2018-2019 school year winds down, there's just a few months of school left before the final bell for summer.
The remaining last weeks will fly by in a flurry of end-of-the-year activities. Here are 12 key dates you need to know if you have children who are attending Fairfax County Public Schools in the Burke area.
- May 6: Senior Parent Night at Robinson Secondary School
- May 11: Lake Braddock Secondary School Prom
- May 22: Rising 7th Grade Parent Night at Lake Braddock Secondary School
- May 27: No school (Memorial Day)
- May 30-June 4: Senior Final Exams
- May 31: Robinson Secondary School Prom
- June 1: Lake Braddock Secondary School 8th Grade Dance
- June 3: Robinson Secondary School Senior Parade
- June 5: Robinson Secondary School Graduation
- June 6-12: Underclassmen Final Exams
- June 10: Lake Braddock Secondary School Graduation
- June 13: Last Day of School; Three-Hour Early Release
