Dr. Kathleen Phillips Joins Veterinarian Team at the Pet Medical Center of Springfield


The Pet Medical Center of Springfield is pleased to announce that Dr. Kathleen Phillips has recently joined their veterinary team. Dr. Phillips attained a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Rochester and graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Dr. Phillips is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), and the Northern Virginia Veterinary Society (NVVS). She has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Springfield area for the past 12 years.

“We are thrilled that Kathleen has decided to move her veterinary practice to the Pet Medical Center of Springfield,” says Dr. Barry Rosenbluth, PMCS owner and Chief of Medical Services. “Her expertise and experience complements that of the rest of our medical team, which further strengthens our commitment to offering only the finest of pet medical services to local families.”

Dr. Phillips grew up in Buffalo, New York and lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, Matt, her son, Ethan, two cats and a pug. When she is not busy treating her patients, she islikely enjoying a ballgame at Nationals Park or exploring the Virginia countryside with her family.

 The Pet Medical Center operates a state-of-the-art facility and has been providing veterinary and other pet care services to the Northern Virginia community for over thirty years. The Pet Medical Center of Springfield is located at 8054 Rolling Road in Springfield, Virginia.
