Is your family history missing an American Revolution veteran? Is there a shadow of someone that should be there? Are you scared stiff to tackle peeking through the cobwebs? We will help you bring the footsteps out of the fog.
The Anna Maria Fitzhugh DAR Chapter will be hosting a genealogy workshop at the Kings Park Library, 9000 Burke Lake Road, Burke on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 10 – 2. Speaker, Kathryn Maxson, will get the hunt off to a good start at 10:15. All are welcome to float in and out anytime between 10 and 2. Bring any clues, information, or documentation that may help find what is lurking about.

DAR members come from a variety of backgrounds and interests, but all share a common bond of having an ancestor who helped contribute to securing the independence of the United States of America. Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible to join. www.dar.org
