Many people do not realize that crew does not receive financial assistance from the Fairfax County Public School System, Fairfax  County, or the State of Virginia. Robinson rowers and parents volunteer thousands of hours each year so that our student-athletes can participate in this exciting activity which builds not only strong bodies, but also teamwork and mental discipline. The program costs approximately $1,900 per rower to cover the equipment, coaches’ salaries and other necessary items needed for a successful season.
