Fairfax County will open 27 new Capital Bikeshare stations.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA – Capital Bikeshare will be expanding across Fairfax County in May, county officials announced April 30.

Twenty-seven new stations, the largest expansion in the program's history, will be established in Annandale, Bailey's Crossroads, Seven Corners, Belle Haven, Huntington and the Mount Vernon Trail, the county's transportation department announced.

Work at each site is expected to take only a day, with bicycles stocked and available shortly afterward.
