We couldn’t have done it without you!
With more than 900 registrants, including 28 running teams, 200 volunteers, and the help of our community businesses and friends, we exceeded our fundraising goal of $100,000.

Fairfax CASA supporters enjoyed a gorgeous day and the excitement of a large, energized crowd for the May 4 Run for the Children 8K Race & 3K Run/Walk. Thanks to all who participated, either as runners, walkers, volunteers, sponsors, donors, and supporters.
With more than 900 registrants, including 28 running teams, 200 volunteers, and the help of our community businesses and friends, the program exceeded its fundraising goal of $100,000. Incredibly, a generous supporter matched that amount, bringing the total amount raised to over $200,000! Hundreds of abused and neglected children in Fairfax County will be helped by CASA volunteers this year thanks to the success of this event.
In her message to supporters, Fairfax CASA Executive Director Lisa Banks said, "We are grateful to each of you for being a part of the day’s success. We hope you will join us next year as we once again — Run for the Children."
