Burke Area Students Named National Merit Semifinalists

Students from Lake Braddock and Robinson were among the semifinalists for the prestigious national scholarship.

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation has announced its approximately 16,000 semifinalists in the 64rd annual National Merit Scholarship Program. The list included 13 students from Burke area schools.

Over 1.6 million juniors from 22,000 high schools nationwide qualified for the 2019 competition by taking the 2017 Preliminary SAT (PSAT).
