Burke Home Gets a Washington Post Make-Over

Burke resident Stephanie Kane said her living room suffers "from clutter and gloominess."  Designer Lisa Montague of offered solutions in the Washington Post.

Suggestions for the 13-by-22 space included:

• Paint the paneling;
• Add storage;
• Create a seating area;
• Hang floor-length curtain panels;
• Mount the television.
