FAIRFAX, VA — A 22-year-old Fairfax man died Tuesday after a motorcycle crash involving a semi-truck in the Braddock area, according to authorities.

Officers responded just before 2 p.m. to a two-vehicle crash in the 12800 block of Route 29, Fairfax County police said.

Police said Mikhail Perry was riding a 2005 Ducati motorcycle northbound on Route 29 when a southbound 2016 Mack semi-truck attempted to make a U-turn and was struck by the motorcycle. Perry was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Detectives with FCPD’s Crash Reconstruction Unit are continuing to investigate the crash. Police said speed is believed to have been a factor for the motorcyclist.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact the Crash Reconstruction Unit at 703-280-0543, according to Fairfax County police.
