David Dolberg Celebrates 30 Years of Business in Burke, Springfield
Dr. David Dolberg opened his chiropractic practice on April 19, 1982.
Dr. David Dolberg, D.C., of Family Chiropractic of Springfield celebrates his 30th year in business this week. His current office is located at 8440 Old Keene Mill Road in Springfield, but he actually started out on April 19, 1982, on Burke Lake Road in Burke.
"We have a very unique wellness facility," said Dr. Dolberg. "In the same building we have our chiropractic practice, two certified massage therapists, and Registered Nurse Carol Epner, RN, BSN, who guides many locals in health and nutrition programs," he said. "In addition, my wife, Joan Normandy-Dolberg, MS, LPC, is the clinic director of Family Counseling of Springfield, also in this building."
In celebration of the 30th anniversary, Family Chiropractic of Springfield sponsored a food drive to benefit . Chiropractic patients were seen Thursday at no charge in exchange for a donation of non-perishable food. "We've sponsored food drives many times over the years," said Dolberg. "During the last few food drives, we collected over 2,000 pounds of food. My goal this time is 2,500 pounds."

Volunteers were weighing the food as it was delivered. Halfway through the day, the collection was already at 1,100 pounds. All who donated food, even non-patients, received raffle tickets for a door prize drawing.
Capital One Bank, Panera Bread of West Springfield, Austin Grill, Asian Grill, Basketball Star Kara Lawson and others donated food and door prizes.

"Over 30 years I have seen many changes in our Burke/Springfield community," said Dolberg. "I've seen many people and businesses come and go. But I am still here, and I could not be more proud."
