Robinson PTSA Distracted Driving Presentation

Did you know that 20 percent of injury crashes in 2009 involved reports of distracted driving?  The highest risk for distracted driving is the age group under 20 years.  Approximately 16 percent of drivers under 20 years involved in fatal accidents were reported to have been distracted while driving.

Distractions N' Driving is a volunteer team of George Mason Graduate Students dedicated to raising awareness in teens about the danger of distracted driving.  Using a carefully developed, research-based presentation, coupled with a real-life driving-while-texting simulation, we show teens that, despite what they may think, it is never safe to drive while distracted.

Come out on Tuesday, March 27th from 8-9 PM in Robinson's Recital Hall to learn more.  All parents and students are welcome to attend!
