The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors is hosting a series of free tax relief workshops in March. Staff from the Department of Tax Administration (DTA) will be on-site to assist residents with filling out the application form, as well as answering questions. They will be at the Kings Park Library Meeting Room on March 19 and March 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Real estate tax relief is available for older adults and people with disabilities who meet certain qualifications; qualified residents also may be eligible for car tax and rent relief.
