Terra Centre Elementary School.
A Community Information Meeting has been scheduled for Feb. 29, 2012, at 7:30 pm on a request from Fairfax County Public Schools (PRC-C-546-2) to enlarge Terra Centre Elementary School, 6000 Burke Centre Parkway by approximately 20,000 square feet. The proposal would add a library, kindergarten, a lobby and classrooms to the school. The renovation would also include an expanded kiss and ride drop off area, a new ADA access to the upper play fields and an expanded hard surface play area. The project is tentatively scheduled for a public hearing before the Planning Commission on April 18, 2012. This project is also subject to a review by the Burke Conservancy Architectural Review Board.
