Greenspring Teams Up With Ashby Ponds in Walk to End Alzheimer's

Greenspring joined together with sister community, Ashby Ponds, on Sunday, September 29 for the Walk to End Alzheimer's held at Reston Town Center.  About 200 residents, staff, and friends of both communities walked together to support the cause. Greenspring, a Gold sponsor for the event, and Ashby Ponds, a Bronze sponsor, contributed a total of $6500 to the Alzheimer's Association this year.

"We had a wonderful evening supporting a cause that means so much to each of us," said Amy Grossman, Ashby Ponds' Director of Continuing Care.  The Continuing Care neighborhood at Ashby Ponds will open in early 2014 and will offer higher levels of care including services for memory care.
