• 93-Year-Old Fairfax County Man Dies After Crash In Burke Intersection: Police (patch.com) — Residents in Burke are being alerted after a 93-year-old Springfield man died from injuries sustained in a two-car collision at the Fairfax County Parkway and Burke Lake Road intersection. Fairfax County police say speed and alcohol are not suspected for the Toyota driver but are still investigating the Nissan's speed, and they're asking anyone who witnessed the Sunday afternoon crash to contact their Crash Reconstruction Unit.
