• County may add $300,000 for Royal Lake Park cleanup efforts after microburst (ffxnow.com) — Royal Lake Park in Burke could get $300,000 in additional county funds to speed cleanup after June's damaging microburst, with a vote set for Sept. 15. Supervisors will also consider millions more for sidewalks, libraries, fire vehicles, technology, and environmental projects, and residents can weigh in at the public hearing.
