• Springfield man dies at 93 after crash on Fairfax County Parkway in Burke (ffxnow.com) — A 93-year-old Springfield man has died from injuries after a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon on Fairfax County Parkway at Burke Lake Road in Burke, highlighting a deadly weekend on local roads. Fairfax County Police say speed is being investigated for the Nissan involved and are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to contact their Crash Reconstruction Unit.
