Police Impersonator Is Trying to Pull People Over, According to Fairfax County Police

Police would like to hear from anyone who was "pulled over" by a police impersonator suspect driving a black Volkswagen sedan.

Fairfax County Police are on the lookout for someone who is impersonating a police officer.

The police department sent out an alert Wednesday, from the Fairfax County Crime Solvers blog, looking to see if anyone else has run across this impersonator.

Here’s what they know: Officers believe several police impersonation incidents started in October. In three incidents, drivers were pulled over by someone in a car using lights similar to what you would find on an unmarked police car.
