Serious Bluegrass

Skystone Bluegrass Band was the featured music at in Old Town on Saturday night. 

A packed house enjoyed tunes including "Be Thankful You're Living," "Mr. Peabody's Coal Train," and "Luther."  The five band members are:

• Monte Monteith on guitar and vocals;
• Jimmie Delozier on fiddle;
• Bill Torbert on mandolin and vocals;
• Tom Udderback on banjo and vocals;
• Bill Taylor on Bass.

"Serous Bluegrass" is the name of their 2008 CD.

Tiffany Tavern hosts live Bluegrass bands at 8:30 p.m. every Friday and Saturday.  The Washington Post calls it, "The area's best bluegrass venue."
