The Fresh Market, a North Carolina-based specialty grocer, and JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research, team up to raise funds for a cure for type 1 diabetes. The Fresh Market’s 19th Annual Hope Floats Sidewalk Sale will offer hot dogs, root beer floats and ice cream sundaes (regular and sugar-free) in return for a donation to JDRF. All proceeds from the weekend sale will go directly to JDRF.
