The annual Poplar Tree Elementary School Fire and Ice game was a blast. The game was last Friday, April 5that Chantilly High School from 7:00pm until 8:30pm, where some of the Poplar Tree Community showed up to watch the game.
Sixth graders played this year without the teachers. The girls played against each other and then the boys. They alternated each quarter. And fifth grade girls cheered on the sidelines and put on an amazing performance at half time.
Everyone was cheering and having a good time. It was an amazing game with an ending score of 42 (Fire) to 47 (Ice). When Ice won some of the crowd went wild.
