Meagan Butkus, Celebrate Fairfax Managing Director said, "There are some major changes in store for this year."

Some of the new things this year are in Extreme Zone.  There are Go Racers, which is like riding on a toilet seat racing around a track.  This year getting wet will be fun at the Water Balloon Battle Station.  Go Racers and the Water Balloon Battles are both FREE with admission.  The Extreme Zone also has a skateboard show and dodgeball tournament.

ExxonMobil Children's Avenue has a bunch of free things for kids.  The activities in this area are included with admission.  If you are coming to Celebrate Fairfax late, do not worry, the ExxonMobil Children's Avenue is open later this year.

We are happy to share that Caring Kids Cards will be back again this year.  Last year, people that waited on line for the train made over 1,000 for Operation Military Kids in the Kids Crafts Tent.  This year, Caring Kids Cards will be back in the same location in ExxonMobil Children's Avenue making cards for Operation Military Kids and America's Adopt A Soldier.  Please stop by and make a card for someone serving in the military overseas or their children here in Northern Virginia.

There are a lot of other new things this year, including the Farmer's Market.  Also new this year is the Radio Disney Fun Fair.  Be sure to check it out!

There are many other fun things for you and your family to do, including crafts, performances, and rides.

There are some great bands.  On Friday night, you can see "The Legends of Hip-Hop" with DJ Kool, Young MC, Digital Underground, Rob Base and hosted by Flavor Flav.  After this show, make sure you go to the Silent Disco Tent because the party does not end at the main stage.  The big show on Saturday night is "Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo".  The Legwarmers will be performing on Sunday afternoon.

The kids stages also have great acts performing daily.  Our friend Brad Matchett will be back again this year with his neat "Magic 4 U" show.  You can see part of his show last year at Celebrate Fairfax and all the other great things you can do in this You Tube Video

Make sure you come by the Caring Kids Cards and Patch booths and say hi.  Both are in the ExxonMobil Children's Avenue.

How would you like a chance to win a pair of free tickets to Celebrate Fairfax?  Like Caring Kids Cards on Facebook to be entered into the drawing!  During Fall for Fairfax, Caring Kids Cards donated clothes for people to make scarecrows and we received a pair of tickets to Celebrate Fairfax.  We would like to give those tickets to you!
