Tips For Kids On A Long Trip In The Car

Have a great summer!

When you go a trip with your family, you first have to pack. But what should you pack? You should pack clothes, toiletries, jackets or bathing suits based on the weather. That is the four things that you are going to need, can you think of more?

What your parents always need is their wallet, money, and drivers license because it is really important to have them.

So now you are all ready to go into the car. When you are in the car, some time passes. It seems like you are in the car forever. You will see some signs. Read them because they might warn your parents about danger. Have a phone in case you get in any of that bad danger and need they to call for help.

You can also look at license plates to see how many states you can find. That is a lot of fun! Along your trip you might see construction trucks. How many different trucks can you find?

Who knows what you will find? When driving from Virginia to New Jersey you might see different stadiums, a giant pineapple, trains, and large Navy boats.

You might go under tunnels, stop at toll plazas, go over bridges, and drive by an airport.

During your trip you will probably get lost. That is why your parents should bring their cell phone. If you cannot do it on your phone and forgot your GPS at home, call someone that is at their house, so they can google where you are and are suppose to go.

Lots of things can happen on a long trip. You will be glad when you get there. If you get lost, just be quiet so your parents can find out where to go.

And if the trip is too long, just take a nap.

These are some of the things I learned on my trip. But I am glad to be home again.

Have a great trip!
