CENTREVILLE, VA — The Fairfax County police arrested a Centreville man Friday for idetify theft and credit card crimes that he allegedly committed in 2018. The man, 37-year-old Robert Tindall, is facing felony charges of identity theft, credit card theft and five counts of credit card forgery.

The initial credit card fraud report that was eventually linked to Tindall was filed in April 2019. However, the alleged criminal activity occurred in mid to late 2018, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

The police noted last Friday that their detectives exhausted all investigative leads at the time of the initial credit card fraud report in 2019. But detectives from the police department's Major Crimes Bureau’s Financial Crimes Squad received a tip in January that helped jumpstart its investigation.
