Located on Fairfax County’s western edge, the Sully Woodlands region is the Park Authority’s largest assemblage of parkland and is rich with natural and cultural resources. A region-wide master plan adopted in 2006 specifies that most of this parkland will be managed for resource protection and trails with a few designated recreational and special uses to serve the region.

The meeting will focus on five Core Park Properties Final Draft CDPs. These final draft conceptual development plans have been prepared for public review and comment for Hickory Forest Park, Poplar Ford Park, Elklick Preserve, and Mountain Road District Park.
