Graffiti House To Be Featured On New Paranormal TV Show

Culpeper's most haunted home the Graffiti House is set to be featured on the new public access show The Witching Hour.

Is the Graffiti House in Brandy Station the most haunted location in Culpeper County? Well, local paranormal investigators with Argos Paranormal will be attempting to answer that question through their Fairfax Public Access and CAM Erie show The Witching Hour. The second episode of the show follows the investigators as they travel to Brandy Station, Virginia, to spend the night in the Graffiti House, where prior guests have heard unexplained footsteps and voices come from the second floor, observed shadow figures pass through the doorways, and objects being moved.

To give a little context on the history of the Graffiti House, the home itself is positioned near the blood soaked land of a major Civil War battle called the Battle of Brandy Station. This battle was the site of the largest cavalry engagement in U.S. history which ultimately crippled the Confederate Cavalry stronghold in the East Coast. During the war, the house acted as both a Confederate field hospital and later a Union Quartermaster during the winter encampment of 1863-1864. During those times, soldiers would sketch their names and messages onto the walls using chalk, earning the home the nickname the Graffiti House.
